M.Sc. (Physics)

Mr. Shrestha, born in Gorkha district is a seasoned Physics lecture who has been teaching for the last 10 years at various colleges in Kathmandu including the GLOBAL SCHOOL OF SCIENCE (GSS). He passed his M.Sc. in physics from central department of physics, Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur in 2013 AD. 

Throughout his career, Mr. Shrestha has been actively involved in research programs and fieldwork. He worked as a field technician for research programs led by the Federation of Nepalese Brick Industries (FNBI) in Kathmandu, the Institute of Advanced Sustainability Studies (IASS) in Germany, and the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) in Nepal. Additionally, he served as a field supervisor for a passive sampling project conducted by Sustainable Atmosphere in Kathmandu Valley (SUSKAT) and R.R.C.A.P. Germany.

Furthermore, Mr. Shrestha contributed as an exhibitor in the Second National Science Exhibition organized by the Institute of Science and Technology (IOST), Tribhuvan University. His dissertation focused on "A Study on the Springtime Meteorological Flows over the Middle Hills of the Central Himalaya," and he published a paper titled "Early Monsoon Time Local Flow Characteristics over the Hetauda Valley and its Implications" in the Journal of the Institute of Science and Technology in May 2014.

Mr. Shrestha actively engages in academic events and conferences. He participated in the National Seminar on Emerging Research Activity in Nepal, organized by the Central Department of Physics, Tribhuvan University, in May 2013. Additionally, he attended the International Summit for Cosmology and Astrophysics 2012 held at Hotel Orchid Tripureshwor, Kathmandu, Nepal, in April 2012.

Moreover, Mr. Shrestha has conducted seminars on Mathematical Simulation and Meteorological Flow and Transport Phenomena in the Central Himalayan Region, showcasing his expertise in these areas.
