We at GSS lend our students an opportunity to celebrate special days that include cultural days, national ceremonial days, religious and success celebration days. On this very design, our students celebrated Saraswoti Puja in the year 2078 organized in presence of senior educators and board members of the college, program managers, faculty members and students who attended the program in hundreds. Saraswoti Puja is celebrated in the month of Magh Suklapachya, the day when Goddess Saraswoti was incarnated with divine power of wisdom and purity. The program of celebration included attending the mass Puja program that was performed in compliance of Vedic Puja ritual system coordinated by a learned Pujari or Pandit. The Goddess Saraswoti was offered Diyo (lamp light), Incense, cash, flowers, garlands, and also sweets in the offerings made on behalf of the college management. The students and faculty and other attendants of the puja took tika from the Pandit at last when the puja was over. Approximately 1000 people took Prasad and tika from the Pandit on the occasion of Saraswoti Puja organized by GSS as a cultural event in the year 2078.
