GSS entail activities that in many cases are initiated by students to actively engage in tasks that build upon solving problems relating diverse topics of science.
Teaching-learning at GSS is participatory
in principle and also in practice that
builds within the group work model. The
classroom practices are staged within and
beyond the class hours on regular basis
and mostly form with active participation
from students divided in groups. Group
works as mainstream pedagogical method
at GSS entail activities that in many cases
are initiated by students to actively engage
in tasks that build upon solving problems
relating diverse topics of science. Besides,
group works at GSS engage the students in
using plentiful techniques of research e.g.
surveying, reviewing, quasi-experiments,
full experiments etc. for learning in
diagnosing, designing, discovering new
ideas and concepts leading to construction
of self-internalized knowledge as managed
by each participant.
