Teachers' Day is important for the students as it gives them a chance to understand the efforts put in by their teachers to ensure that they get proper education.

Part of day celebration includes teachers day celebration as a special event we organize at GGS and it is observed on the meaning of remembering teachers as the most contributing intellectual members of knowledge communities with that the college is aligned in an order to ensure best quality education to its students. The teachers' day celebration is organized on the day that is mentioned in Hinduism's ritual and religious philosophy sources called Vedic manuscripts. On this very day, the college program as well as students are gathered to pay honor to their teachers by offering them special sweets along with Khada and Tika for their position that is maintained to be distinct among all. 

The Teachers' day celebration was held in the year 2078 on the auspicious occasion of religiously informed day in Hindu calendar. On this day, GSS invited all the faculty members to the college premises where the teachers were seated on the front row for each member to receive Khada and Sweets handed over to them from the level of senior member of College Board. The program was observed as a ritual celebration and was attended by a number of students who offered their teacher different gifts along with candies and eating items that they thought their teachers would love eating. Just as Saraswoti Puja, teachers' day celebration was an informal yet attended by the large number of students and faculty at GSS in the year 2078.
