BIOGRAPHY
Devi Prasad Kharel has been a Zoology teacher for 23 years, teaching at various colleges in Kathmandu. He has been a faculty member of Zoology at GSS since its inception, and has also taught medical and paramedical entrance classes for the past 18 years. He specializes in Parasitology and has held the position of HOD of the Bio-Department at Little Angels' Education group for 8 years. He has received the Excellent Teacher Award from New Summit College and was recognized by USAID's Faculty Development Program Series II for his participation in "Active Learning: Creating Inclusive & Engaging Classrooms". He holds a Master's Degree in Zoology (specializing in Parasitology) and a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Tribhuvan University.
He was born in Taplejung, originally from Jhapa, and currently resides in Baneshwor, Kathmandu.
